President - Kyle Sharp

Kyle Sharp

I am running for the office of President of S.H.I.P. for the 2004-2005 term. I have been involved in the organization for two years and sat on the Board of Governor’s this year. I made it to both leadership meetings and was active in the decision making process. Devotion to the organization is evident from my commitment to other clubs in school. I am currently editor of the high school newspaper, producer of the annual musical, and historian for the Newark Valley chapter of S.H.I.P. Additionally, I sit on the Newark Valley High School site-based team, help maintain the school website, and help with the annual Apple Festival and Hands-On Day, a day when fourth graders come to our local historical site and learn about life many years ago. These programs are both put on by the Newark Valley Historical Society. I will be devoted to S.H.I.P. and work to continue to make the organization a success.

Vice President - Zach Lenox

Zach Lenox

I am running for the position of vice-president of the S.H.I.P. organization, for the 2004-2005 year of S.H.I.P. I have been in the S.H.I.P organization for the past two years and was on the board of delegates committee this year, where I attended both the Auburn and Ithaca meetings. I am also involved in many other clubs and activities. This past year I helped out the Newark Valley Historical Society in their Apple Festival, Hands on Day, and also their Spring Festival. I am also in our school's student government. I am a member of the Binghamton Madrigal Choir, the Newark Valley Masques, our golf and soccer team, National Honors Society, and a few other activities. If elected as vice-president for the 2004-2005 year of S.H.I.P, I will try to make it a fun and successful year for everyone.
